Hello guys must perform an upgrade the IP 500 V2 from release 9.1.0 to release 9.1.7
The system is already up and running and the customer has recorded many messages with embedded voice mail.

What is the best way to do the update with manager or recreating the Sd ?

The customer during the update can continue to use the telephones or cannot?

Do I need to make a save .cfg file but recorded messages are lost ?

Licenses there is no problem because it is only an update of service pack correct ?

Sorry for the many questions , i never made an update on a system already running

Thanks for the help

Do a backup anyway.
Messages won't be lost.

System will reboot part of the way through.

When you hit upgrade the bin files will upload. A message will then come up 'Proceed with Upgrade?" Once you hit yes, system will reboot after 30 seconds - 1 minute. Downtime should be under 1 minute unless handsets are digital. If they are then they will sit their wait for the new firmware files to be uploaded to IP Office

14xx and 95xx phones have new firmware in 9.1.7.
