Hi,

I've been tasked with upgrading my IPO 500 v2 from 8.1 to 9. I have never done it before so I searched the Avaya support site for upgrade documentation. The document I found, is quite good and shows the steps using the upgrade wizard but I still have a question.

After running the wizard, I am shown a table with the following columns, Name, IP address, Type (lists .bin files), version, Edition, Licensed, Required License, Available, status and Progress.

I haven't actually hit the upgrade button as I want to know I need actual media to do this. Currently, I have a file with license key information and access to the IPO.

I just want to know before I hit the button, screw up the IPO and my Christmas weekend.

Thanks.

This is covered in training and is for technicians. Please pay someone to do it or go on a course.

Indeed as you do not know the basics which can bite you if you continue.
You are probably not daft and capable of getting it done you do not have the knowledge of anything else needed.
This will cause the problem of a system not working anymore because of licensing issues of firmware issues.
You better pay a certified engineer to get it done quickly and well documented changes.

BAZINGA!
