Ip Office to S8300

Can only call one way s8300 to ipoffice works ok ip office to s8300 will not work any ideas i have checked out the document in the enginners cd

I assume you are using IP trunking to connect the units. Have you looked at the document "043. Connecting an IP600 and IP Office via H.323. IP Trunk"?. It has helped me in the past.

Can you ping the IP Office from the s8300?

What shortcode are you using to send the call to the S8300? I had this setup on my test unit (it's torn down atm) and it was working fine both ways.

You will naturally want to make sure that the s8300 is up to speed on its firmware upgrades.

Make sure that you route the call via SC to the proper trunk group and send the proper number. You can use Monitor to see what you are sending via vcm trunking. You can also use the ACMs Trace command to see if it reachs the destination.

I almost forgot. You also need to be sure that a route is created with a destination in the ACM.
