any idea why the system would reboot in the following scenario, 95xx digital phones, preferred edition w/ UC Mod.

customer reported the following:
Events occurring at the time of this occasion were:

a) Incoming call placed on hold on extension 116

b) Pressed right arrow key on extension 112

c) Pressed left arrow key twice on extension 112

d) Everything goes black

e) Two or three minutes elapse before system is operational again and call has been lost

And he tested and was able to reproduce as he indicates:
Just a moment ago I did a test and this event is reproducible. Here are the steps:

a) Dialed into extension 116 using my cell phone

b) Pick up call at extension 116 and place on hold

c) On extension 112:

a. Press right arrow once

b. Press left arrow twice, quickly

d) System reboots

Any Ideas???

If it's 9.0.3 then that's the issue, it's crap. Otherwise what function is he trying to activate with those keystrokes? :)

Not sure what function he's trying to activate but yeah they're on v9.0.3 ... have you heard of this same issue happening before?

LOL yet another oddity with 9.0.3. Heard there are some issues with bridged appearances causing reboots as well, plus UMS Exchange being borked.

Could this be related to the known problems with certain UC modules?
