Quick question, can anyone tell me if a SOHO can support Onboard MOH, or does it need to be external? -The only info I can find is on the external port only.

IPOffice v2 has an internal music on hold feature, but I could not get it to work after hours and hours of trying. Do yourself a favor and sell the client an external music on hold unit. Set the output to 8 ohms. I tried an MP3 player turned all the way up, but the output was not very loud on hold, and there is no volume adjustment in the IPOffice Manager.

Well you are not the best person to be answering then, he doesn't have a 500v2 and getting MOH to work is a doddle, takes less than 30 secs and I've never, not once had it not work....so take from that what you will :)

And to correctly answer your question, yes it supports internal MOH, up to 30 secs only though so external may be the way to go :)

Getting internal MOH to work on an IP 500 V2 is pretty easy. Its a specific file format and file name and you put it in the right spot.

The first question has to be what the OP means with SOHO? Perhaps IP Office SOE?

The SOE was also marketed as the SOHO (Small office/Home office) :)

OK. But far away from the mentioned IP500V2 ;-)
