Hi,
need a help !
i am Installing AvayaIPOfficeSoftConsole_11.1.2100.23 on a Windows PC. i have logged into the Soft console and can Receive calls.
is it Possible to receive the call via Computer by Plugging a Headset or it is Only Possible to answer the calls via Hard Phone associated with soft console?

thanks in advance
jerom

The SoftConsole works in parallel with whichever phone you want to use (deskphone or softphone), but it doesn't work as a deskphone itself.

Using the same user as logged into SoftConsole, you need to login on an IP Office extension. Preferrable it should be an Avaya phone such as a 1400, 1600, 9500, 9600 or J100. Those will go on and off hook under control of the SoftConsole. An analog phone can be used but needs some specific configuration.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Thanks sizbut
so the calls cannot be answered via headset connected to the Computer. the headset should be connected to the associated Phone Only right ?

Yes they can, but it would need something like Avaya Workplace running on the same compute. Workplace would then provide the user with their audio, SoftConsole would control answer and make the calls (ie. control Workplace).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Thanks sizbut for the reply
shall try it.
