IP 500V2 release 8.1.xx ringing every 30 minutes all the lines but nobody there... (regular 1FL)
here we found in Montreal and Quebec city, all customers with Bell Fibe have this issue unless using release 8.0.43 or less.
the carrier is sending thru FSK a VMWI (visual message waiting indication) every 30 seconds event if you don't have
the voicemail service with them and the IP Office interpret this as a incoming call. Bell can run a temporary path for
a few day but getting reset by the ONT after a few day. I open a ticket with Avaya but still waiting on that.
anyone else have this issue and were able to build a work around or for now the only solution is to downgrade the
system?

IP office, tu te fesses la tete sur les murs mais ca fonctionne!!!

do a search here.
this is a known issue and somebody solved it somehow but i do not know how.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I have a issue with a IP Office 8.0 (56) and bell fibe line...

I don't have the problem for the phantom line ringing each 30 minutes but i have other problem...

If i configure the apparance on the phone, i take the first line, and if i want to take another line with any phone, nothing happen. That work only if i put a line apparance directly on the phone, but not the best...

If someone know why ???

wooppe I have had this issue 4 or 5 times and they have all been with people with Verizon service (I am located in the US). It is exactly as you say, the 'message waiting indicator' signal that they send down the line. Half of the people I got converted over to the system voicemail and shutoff the carrier voicemail and the other half I was able to have Verizon specifically take off the message waiting indicator feature. I'm surprised that they would still be getting that signal if the carrier turned off voicemail - did they say that they couldn't turn off that specific feature at least? Thankfully Verizon has been able to.
