I hate to even admit that I am having a problem like this as I have been selling and servicing these systems for almost 15 years but here I go:
I have a small IPO R9.1 in Basic Edition (Key Mode) that I just installed to replace an old Partner. They have 5 extensions (1408's) and 3 Analog lines, all on a Combo Card. Everything seemed to be fine until we started testing incoming calls and realized that the calls ring sequentially rather than collectively. And I can't find anywhere that says that it can be changed.
Is it possible to have all extensions ring for an incoming call? It seems like such a small thing but i can't believe that I am the first to ask. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Under Button programming for each user you can choose: immediate, delayed, or no ring for each line. Make sure they are all set to ring. Or does it go to an auto-attendant first and then to a group?

Thanks for the reply. This system is so basic that they don't even use an AA or vm. The problem is not that the phones won't ring, it is that the Hunt Group is hard set to Rotary ringing which means that each phone rings one at a time. When the single phone is ringing the Line Appearance button will flash green and the LA button on the non-ringing will flash red (silently). That wouldn't be so bad but when you lift the handset at one of these other phones, the ringing line is not automatically selected. It shouldn't be this hard to get all of the phones in a hunt group to ring simultaneously. Is there something I am missing?

It would help to know if the system is set to PBX or Key mode? And the type of line?

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

If in PBX mode then set the trunk coverage destination to the Operator group, that is the only collective group in a basic system.
Add all users to ring in that group.

If in KEY mode you only have the sequential groups available but with Button programming you can create Line buttons and selct for immediate ring or delayed ring. So for each line you have to assign a button.
If all extensions have line buttons then all extensions will ring immediate or delayed when a call arrives on one of the line buttons.
By default each phone has buttons programmed for all lines.

All extensions have the default Line Appearance buttons present. I have them all in HG1. Of course, HG1 is a Rotary Ring mode. what other options are there?

Why are you even messing with a hunt group?? In basic mode with 5 phones and 3 lines just put the lines on the 5 phones and set the lines to immediate ring. Change the coverage destination for each line to "none". Now when you call the lines they will ring all phones at once.

I think what intrigrant is saying is to put Line Appearance buttons on the extensions and set them to immediate ring so they will ring immediately on the phones, regardless of the hunt group design.

Correct, but what is important is to know if it is in PBX or in KEY mode... depending on that you program either a operator group or line buttons.

They've already said twice that it's KEY mode, so the Line buttons should work fine.

I think that is what I am looking for: I just need to take the users out of the HG and change the Line Destination to "None". It looks like the "Ringing Options" default to "Immediate". So that should do it. I will make the changes and get this behind me.
Thanks for all of the input.
