We have a IPoffice R8 on dmz with SIP trunks and couple of IP and SIP endpoints. All devices are working fine except when we try to connect PHone Manager IP SoftPhone it dosen't discover; and there is no trace on Monitor.
Give a tech a solution and he will be back tomorrow to ask you the next question, teach a tech how to read the manual and he will be able to solve the problems for a life time.
So you have an IPO on the public internet with SIP enabled
I would check the phone bills as this is asking for trouble.
I have once done this as a test and a sip trace showed a request of a "friendly sip server" trying to hack it.
I had no SIP trunk licenses on it but it tried to make calls.
This was after 5 minutes!!!
