Hi,

I have 2 x IP Office 500's with an SCN. It's been in and working for ages but today there are issues between the sites. Hunt Group 500 on site 1 should contain user 511 on site 2 and usually does, but on Manager for site 1 you now cannot see the users from site 2 when you try to add users to group 500.

If you open Manager for site 2 you can see that 511 is in group 500, and if you try to add users to groups on site 2 you can in fact see all the users across both systems.

Any ideas please what may be happening? I have rebooted both systems and it hasn't helped.

TIA

which system is the group native to?

is the Advertise group checkmark in?

Have you tried to open manager in SCN mode.

SCN discovery must be enabled in the Manager in order to find and load each SCN member configuration.

Goto File ➤ Preferences.
Select the Discovery tab.
Check SCN Discovery.
Click OK.

This will show both systems merged into 1 interface.
This is the proper way.

It’s possible there is a network issue between the sites.

Open Monitor and check SCN Network to see if the links are communicating correctly

The group is native to site 1. Advertise group is ticked - you can see the group on Manager on site 2, the issue is that on site 1 it doesn't detect users from site 2! Really strange one.

Thanks, I've never looked at the SCN status on Monitor before, it does look like the issue is network related.
