I don't recall where I read this but can't seem to find it anymore so I thought I'd post it here. The other threads I've read here talk about routing 911 calls through voicemail pro in order to get notifications when 911 is dialed, which to most is bad practice. This process requires a reboot to save the new settings so be mindful that you might want to do this during off hours.
**Screenshot attached for reference**
1. In IP Office Manager Click System under the IP Offices column then click the System Events tab on the right.
2. Click the Alarms tab then click Add on the right.
3. Select Email for Destination and type in the email address you want the notifications to go to when 911 is dialed.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the Events section and check the box for Emergency Calls.
5. Click OK then click Save, set the reboot for when the system is able to be rebooted.
This option can be set via the web gui as well, YOU STILL NEED TO REBOOT.
1. Login with the Offline mode checked.
2. Hover over System Settings at the top and select System.
3. Click System Events on the left and you add an email address in the Emails section.
4. Remember, you will need to reboot your IP Office for these changes to save.
We needed this setup so we would know who accidentally dialed 911 and we could tell them what happened. I hope this helps someone!!
