Hi I have a client with a 406 V1. Is there any way to create a different option to the *32*N#, for the receptionist saying you have a call on line 2010/2101/2102 etc etc, then the client having to dial all these digits to pick up the call????? Is there a shorter code that be created or any other suggested options????? Maybe a programmed key on the DT / 2030 handests??? that will store the *32* ??? Please any suggestions? The shorter the better. Many thanks.
 
You can make the shortcode anything you'd like. If those are extensions, put them into a hunt group and use call pickup members to answer anything ringing at any of the members of the group.
 
Go to the user > button programming > program button > emulation > Call park > Action Data 1
repeat and set next one to Action data 2, then 3, etc..

leave default park short codes as is, this works perfectly.
 
once parked she could voice announce harry you have a call on park 1, if he has these park zones programmed on his phone he will see that the call is now lite up and simply just has to push the park button to pick up the call.

Thanks to all for the tips. Smokinjoe2938 that worked but for whatever reason the person receiving has to press the pick up button twice, first press says busy?
 
some releases showed the number of the caller on the first press, then you had to press it a second time to get the caller, these were earlier release but where you are in a 406V1 it is possible that is what you have.

another I have adopted is to creat a new short code
SC: 2XXX
TN: .
Feature: unpark.

increase dial delay count to 5

this will enable users to simply dial the park bay number allcoated by the system when reception parks calls


A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
