I have a IP Office Rel. 10.1 (PBX1) in one location connected to a MyPBX (PBX2) in another location.
The outside lines are on PBX1. The Extensions on PBX1 one are 3XX and on PBX2 are 4XX. The internal calls work with no problem between the two PBXs. On PBX1 I added a Short code, 4XX to accomplish this,
When I dial a PBX1 extension on PBX2, it is redirected with no problem. The external line on PBX1 is accessed dialing the Short Code 9XXXXXXXX. This Short Code is on the user configuration. I tried to setup a Short Code on the System (9XXXXXXXX) but when I dial a number in the format 9XXXXXXXX on PBX2, I get a message from PBX1 saying the trunks are Busy. I get the same message if I dial the outside number from a phone without the user Short Code 9XXXXXXXX on Its configuration

Can someone help with this?

Thank You

I don't have a System short Code for that now, but I had it before and did not work either

Short code: 9XXXXXXXX
Telephone Number: .
Feature: Dial
Line Group ID: 0

The call presented to the IP office from the myPBX is treated a if it had been dialled locally on the IPO & will be using system short codes
To dial out from the IPO your short-code almost certainly wants to strip the 9 as you do not want that to b sent to the carrier.

so your short code telephone number should be N not dot.

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

The 9 can not be striped. It is needed. The all number would be 943 XXX XXX
And for Land Lines would be 2XX XXX XXX

9 and 2 are not codes, They are part of the number

In the mean time we are 21 posts later and still no fix.......

@intrigrant
I'm just answering the post and the questions- It is not easier to go to the costumer and implent the sugestions. I'm In West Africa, Not seating in an office with remote access to the PBX. I really don't need your comments. If you Think the posts are too many, just don't watch them anymore and don't replay. So far, fro, those 21 posts I didn't see a constructive post from you

Actually this would had solved this long time ago

Before stqrting to guess use sysmonitor and log a call on both sites to see what happens.
Use the default filter and enable shortcodes in the call filter.

But considering the IP Office answers Not Found my bet still is that there is no ICR for the calls from MyPBX which I mentioned earlier.

Without the proper info i don't even give a hint as i have no clue what is wrong
