I'm having problem with running Manager on my new Windows 7 32bit system.

Everytime I try to open it say Manager not responding. WHat can I do to fix this problem?

Thanks for your help as alyways.

I tried to re install and it still doesn't work. Not sure what else to try.

Just nake sure .net and java etc are up to date and then try again, it's not the manager software so it's something up with that PC :)

.net 4 java 6 update 23. This is a new pc so everything has been updated. Is there a program to see what might be causing the failure?

uninstall.
reboot.
remove entries from registry.

try reinstall

all else fails. call bill gates.

How long did you wait?
Sometimes just letting it go fixes these things.
There must be something wrong.

What error does event viewer give?

When you pay peanuts, you get monkeys!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I waited a few minutes after I re-installed the program. I would not work. I didn't see where to find errors in even viewer.

Turn of UAC on Win7, solves most of my problems. Or right click on the setup and select setup with administrator rights.

I am having the same problem trying to run Manager on Windows 7 Professional. The machine is an HP machine preloaded with extra software, and does not come with an actual Windows 7 setup disk, only their Recovery disks. I believe it is some pre-installed software that is causing my problem. Even if I uninstall all preloaded software, Manager refuses to run. But, on the same hardware, if I use a Windows 7 Professional OEM CD and the key from the machine label for activation, then Manager 6.0 or 6.1 runs fine.

Also, any version 5.0 Manager runs fine on the factory image, but any version 6.0 or 6.1 installs fine, but Manager refuses to run. Monitor and SSA from the 6.0 and 6.1 suite all run fine. Even if I install a version 5 suite (and make sure it runs) and then upgrade it to 6.0 or 6.1, Manager still does not run.

I just migrated to Win 7 Ultimate/32, when started Manager runs, but after a while it freezes, despite is not shown as a non responding application in the task manager.
No logs in the event viewer. and I am allowed to launch a second session of manager, while the first one is KO.
Then the only chance is to kill it via Task Manager.
It works for a while, then it stops again....
