I think it's the shoretel guys you need to be asking as there are only like 4 or 5 settings on the IP Office side so not a great deal of work to be done there
From recolection the only way to connect a ShoreTel system to IP Office is via Qsig. If i remember rightly the Shoretel uses non H.323 proprietary ip trunks hence why you can't do the link via IP. Never tried SIP trunks so don't know whether that is a possiblity.
