IP Office intermittant noise

Hi all,

Who can please assist me with a intermittant noise on the Avaya Gateway using 9608 IP phones and BRI Telco lines.

Users from various sites intermittantly complain about poor voice quality, echo and a crackling noise.
We have checked the network QoS settings, bandwidth. Our network engineers ensured me that there are no issues.
These noises also occur on internal extension to extension calls.
No power issues

Please assist.

By default internal extn to extn calls do not go via the system, they go direct over the network between handsets. So unless all the hadsets are faulty it is the network causing the noise. The tools used to monitor the health of a network/switches would not show such issues anyway so I'm not sure they can dismiss it that easily, especially given what I just highlighted :)
