hello everyone

i have ip office R10.0 with combo card 4 analog trunks and 30 1608 ip phones
if anyone want to dial external he need to press9 before the number as per the shortcode created.

the problem is in my country the police number is 122 and the mobile network start with 0122xxxxxxx
sometimes if i want to dial a mobile number ip office routes me to the police number
i dial 90122xxxxxxx not 9122

i don't know why it strip the 0 after 9
the shortcode is like :
Short Code: 9N
Feature: Dial
Telephone Number: N
Line Group ID: 0

Can anyone help me with this

The system will not strip off the 0 unless it is told to, so you either do have a shortcode/ARS entry that does this or you are not dialling the 0 I reckon.

It is bound to be an ARS issue if the short code setup is the correct :)

possibly the 1st digit is getting sent to line too quickly & being missed
Sys mon will confirm the system is sending it, in which case add a , into he dial string to force a delay

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

or set the analog line to wait longer than 3 seconds to wait for dialtone if that is the case
