thread940-1453964 in reference on thread940-1453964 I found out that for some unknown reason my router Cisco 2811 now requires to have the quotes removed from the following statement on option 176, keep in mind we have over 80 routers with the same configuration.
With quotes my phones gets all the necessary DHCP information, IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, VLanID, etc. all except the Call Server.
Option 176 = "MCIPADD=192.168.174.48,MCPORT=1719,TFTPSRVR=192.168.173.51"

By removing the quotes from the statement on option 176 or 242, phones would just start to light up like Christmas tree, Call Server gets found right away and phones are now up and working.

Option 176 = MCIPADD=192.168.174.48,MCPORT=1719,TFTPSRVR=192.168.173.51

If this provide any help, please either "removed" the quotes or "add" the quotes to statment Option 176 or 242 on your router.

Thanks for sharing youe experience here, it is appreciated despite some replies[wink].

Yeah, thanks for the tip, I thought you were asking why it was different :)
