HI Guys

Replacing an LG Pbx in a hotel which connects to their front end system "Protel". Guys in protel say we need the following:

To fulfil the customers functional demands, he requires - a gateway software called "FOIS" (aka "BCS") from Avaya. This is "talking":
• on one side to the PBX
• on the other side to protel - via the so called FIAS protocol
and hence "translates" between the proprietary PBX language and the hospitality standard FIAS.

Has anyone done anything like this or can point me in the right direction?

cheers
Dave

There are a few thirth party vendors who delivers software for FIAS based on TAPI Pro on IP Office.

only a translator TAPI Pro <> FIAS , can be used with any FIAS 2 compatible Hotel Management software supporting billing and room services( I have good experiences with their software )

Have been playing around with it but it is not for any Hotel Management suite, it fits best on Fidelio ( most used and ths expensive ).

No experience at all, delivers a full blown solution for hospitality with a voicemail, FIAS 2 connections and a lot more. Maybe over the top.

A simple mind delivers great solutions

Thank you for the info! SoSoftware no longer sells their Hotel product :(

Trying to reach out to Imagicle now.
