IP Office Aux Ringer

I am new to the IP Office. Is there a way to make an over paging speaker ring when a phone rings? I am trying to set up a night ringer only to ring the overhead speakers when a night button is pressed.

Only with VMPro you would be able to build it.

Never tried but this could work;

For IPO;
Create a SC
· Short Code: *36
· Telephone Number: "NightPage"
· Feature: Voicemail Collect

Create a User NightPageFWD turnoff VM, and FWD it to *36
Put that user in a Huntgroup (the one you're going to use for Night Service)

Create park ShortCodes;
· Short Code: *37*N#
· Telephone Number: N
· Feature: ParkCall
And
· Short Code: *38*N#
· Telephone Number: N
· Feature: Unpark Call

For VMPro;

Create a module > start point > post dial (select a wav file and for the extension use PAGE:xxx) > transfer (destination *37*1# this will be park pos. 1)

So when a call comes in, it play the Wav file over he speakers and will be parked. Then the users need to unpark it with *38*1#

PS you can shorten the SC *38*1# but i think you know how.

It also depends on your paging system. If using a Valcom or Bogen unit it may have a "Night Ring" connection.

If so you would connect this to an analog station port on your IP Office if you have one available.

Then you can point a ringing call or staion to the analog port in Manager.
