I have a client looking to use an IP office for a Call Centre on an M1. Could you confirm that the IP Office supports Q.Sig and is likely to work when tied to an M1 with PRI ties?
Any other ideas would be helpful as well.

IPO does support Qsig.
I have suscessfuly connected IPO's using Qsig to both definity & Nortel systemc (BCM) so I would not expect any problems with a M1

I also have a client looking at doing the same thing, except I'm coming at it from the IPO side looking skeptically at the M1 instead of the other way around :)

The IPO fully supports Q.sig as part of the base system, you don't have to add any licences. If your M1 has all the appropriate options enabled (get out your chequebook) you should be fine.

I would say fully is stretching the point a little
IPO supports basic call setup on Qsig, but most additional features are not implemented

It should still be possible to get it working with the M1 provided Qsig is enabled.

Really? What features aren't supported? I got the impression they supported nearly the full protocol.

Im sure the supported features are listed in the documents , but IIRC it is just the basic call setup features
