I'm trying to wrap my head around the way the certificates work with IP Office. Maybe one of you guys could help me out?
I have users using both 1X Mobile and Communicator Client, and I've seen in the Configuration guidelines where it discusses creating a certificate for another machine. So,,, If I have a 500V2 and an Application server for 1X and Voicemail. Can I simply Buy an SSL Cert for the 1x and then create the certificate for the 500 V2 from the Server? Or Will I need two Certs. any help would be greatly appreciated. I would think that one would act as the CA, if I'm installing 3rd party Root-CA and intermediate Cert as well, as long as chaining is enabled.
