When alog trunks are on the system and a customer rings one of the numbers it takes 3 rings before any of the phones ring in the office. I have tryed to set the timers but this has not done anything to help.
*Make sure you are set for loop or ground start
and not loop clid or ground start clid ....
*caller id will waits a ring or 2 to process
the caller id information .....we had the same
issue on all our trunks as it defaults to
loop clid ...the outside party would hear 2 rings
before our sets would ring ......change them all to
just Loop and it worked fine
CLI is delevered between the 1st & 2nd ring burst, You cannot proccess it untill it has been recieved hence the delay, which is wors if the callis then being passed to a pot with cli enabled (another 2 rings to send to phone)
