I've found some old information pertaining to IP Office Manager not working on a Mac....has there been any development on this? Still no dice?

It works perfectly if you install Windows on a Mac =)

Don't see this coming as they can claim the Web Manager works on a Mac.

web Manager being a web application should work without issue on a MAC
I can confirm it works happily with a Linux desktop.

It has never been available as a native Mac applications & almost certainly never will be.

Aren't there some limitations on Web Manager compared to Manager?

I know there have been a few changes in recent releases.

I've been running VM Ware and IPO Manager/System Status/Monitor for years on my Macbook Air without any issues

the web manager piece is getting better and better (more full-featured) with every release. That works on a MAC fine.

If you want the PC Admin suite (Manager, SSA, Sys monitor), you have to run Windows. On a MAC this implies either a bootcamp partition (annoying to reboot) or some kind of virtualization software (Parallels, VirtualBox (free), etc.) And of course, a copy of Windows.

If it is any consolation... Here in the States, Apple doesn't get taught past elementry school... Because it isn't used in the business (Real) world. It is a toy for the elite who have no technical knowledge. If you insist on using a Mac, learn to make it work like a business machine.

(Or use Web Manager as it is agnostic... It does work in R10. Recent hires went to training, and Avaya is trying to get away from actual Windows applications as they haven't wrote one that worked well for a while)

[pimp] ~~!!~~Please take the old guy sarcasm with the love it is intended. Web Manager robs Qualified, Certified, Vendors of the advantage of propietary software. Opens up any Monkey with a browser to trash all thier hard work.~~!!~~

But that is effectively using windows.
I did say there was no NATIVE mac application, there are always ways around a problem if you have enough time & resources.

they should not be teaching Windows/micr$soft either, they should be teaching Computing (basic principles that can be applied to any system) by the time they leave school there will probably be a new version & everything will have changed any way (or it will change a few years later).

How many IPO engineers shy away from apps server because they are scared by the thought of the penguin (when in fact it is easier to install correctly than the windows variants of VM Pro, one x & call recorder)?
