IP office admin keeps making FAKE extensions

Everytime I reboot/save the config with my 3.2 (53) control unit Ip403... it creates fake extensions and users that have the SAME extension as our other IP office, AUTOMATICALLY and causing a huge problem... even when I delete them and restart it just keeps creating the same 5 extensions, and if I change their extension to a different number, it keeps those and adds the same 5 again so now I have 10... why does it keep adding those VOIP extensions and users automatically?! They show up as like Ext951... its causing a huge problem lol.

Do you have IP phones that have those Base extensions numbers? try turning auto create off.

We have IP phones, where do I go to do that off exactly? Is that feature in the control unit or the phone? thanks!

its been a while since i had 3.2 running but it is in the system tab either under the LAN port or on the gatekeeper tab. What you will probably find is 5 phones that cant register because the base ext is one of those numbers you keep deleting. you can then log the phone in with the correct ext.

ya theres nothing there like that hmmm... I dont know, I got it down to TWO left, that keep doing it... instead of five by deleting and modyfing and restarting over and over again

I figured out why, if your callsv address is set to the other unit on a phone on accident, it keeps registering itself, my buddy told me he had them changed to the right IP and he didn't... wrong control unit callsv IP
