I am at a new install and haveing many problems. UC module stops the VM pro service many times a day. This customer has heavy call flow and its killing them. Catalyst tech support say they need to send it to Avaya tier III tech support and we need to pay for tech support which is crap. The equipment has a 3 year advanced parts replacement warranty with Avaya and they should just send me a new one.. Has anyone tried Using VMpro on a PC and not using the UC module. Just point the ip address to a pc with voicemail pro loaded.. I need the UC module for the VM pro and preferred licenses. Message lights on the northern phones come on for no reason and wont go off. Tech support says to delete the user and reboot voicemail to turn off stuck lites. Avaya's not smart enough to make a short code to turn msg lights on and off but dont get me started. Button on Northern phone quit working. I have even had one Northern phone change extension numbers. I dont know if anyone has soulutions to these problems but I would stay away from ever installing a UC module or using Northern phones on IP Office.

Did you upgrade the C110 module?

Are you using a voice question in the voicemail callflow?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Get a PC, get the Linux Apps DVD and use that instead of the UC.

I'm still not sure of the benefit of the UC when it can be done this way and you end up with a much more powerful computer for less money. Unless you a really tight on space!

Ploes, the UCM is a great module which works very well.
I have none of these issues and we already have a couple running without issues.

If hes using an AA, my step costs nothing and rules out a VM Pro fault rather than a UC fault.

Not sure what you mean by a voice question. Do you mean a campaign? Would it cause problems if I am.

No a voice question.
This is an action where you can play a wav and then a record and again a wav.
It is called a voice question.

Set the logging to verbose.
Let the problem occur and then download the logging and see what is going on.
