ip office 500 v2 downgrade questions.

Hi ya,

At my home office / geek lab I have an old IP OFFICE 500 v2 running 7.0 preferred.
The unit may have a failing SD slot...

I purchased a newer unit from ebay which is running essential 8.1

I want to downgrade that unit to 7.0 preferred

Is it as simple as inserting the SD card in the unit and booting?

Any advice?
