Ip office 500 how to transfer call to outside number

Hi
I am attempting to do this with two analogue Telstra trunks with no joy. I have followed instructions in this post

with no joy.
I call in, answer call hit transfer then dss key with outgoing number on it and the call disconnects once I hang up.
Firmware is 5.0

What outgoing line groups are your trunks in?

Have you tried to ticked "Allow Analog Trunk to Trunk Connect"? It's on your Analog Line properties.

Hi Guys. Thanks for your responses:

"and as a qualified installer one should know the snags with this type of issue". I am a qualified Panasonic trained Tech, moved jobs and this is what my new boss has. Panasonics do not like PSTN to PSTN calls and I was wondering if this is the same? Jumped on this forum for a bit of a nudge in the right direction.
