Hi,

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I am not very familiarized with the Avaya IP Office 500 system, but we have 2 PRIs coming into the Avaya IP 500 server. From there we have a T1 crossover cable that goes into a T1034 T1 Brooktrout card that we use with our Fax Server. We have been having some failures with faxes and the Fax software vendor suggested to lower the speed on each one of the lines of the BrookTrout card. After changing the speed from the Fax Software to 9600 bps, the speed still showing very high. The software vendor told me that the Avaya system seems to be forcing the speed and that I should try to lower it from the Avaya system.

Is that even possible? Can the speed going to each one of the Brooktrout lines be controlled by the Avaya System? If so, can someone explain how to change it.

We are currently using IP Office Manager 6.1.
