IP Office 500 and Avaya Workplace 1

I’ve had to get this working again for a customer. The Avaya IP Office is successfully syncing with accounts-ipo.avayacloud.com, handling certificates and everything as expected. However, under the phone service settings, the Server Address always defaults to the local IP instead of the hostname.

I can’t find where to change this setting permanently. If I manually update it to the correct hostname, everything works—until the system refreshes the connection, at which point it reverts to the local IP.

Has anyone encountered this issue before, or know where this setting can be configured?

Sounds like if the FQDN is not correctly configured in the LAN interface settings.

The FQDN is set in the LAN1 Tab under VoIP for SIP Domain and Sip Registrar

And the client connects through LAN1 or maybe LAN2?

The 46xxsettings.txt is autogenerated?

The 46xxsettings.txt is autogenerated yes, and connects via LAN1. LAN2 is not connected.

Fixed it, there was a 46xxspecials setting it to the internal IP with TCP not TLS
