I'm having problems with AA transfering calls to the extensions, sys monitor finds extension but says:

Target not in dial plan


Help! New install

Are you using V-mail pro?
Do you your extension (2??) connected to a tranfer action, and in the specific tab have this ($KEY)type in?

wether its a transfer to an extension or 0 out to operator or dial by name the call goes silent and then disconnects

Do you get any voice prompts on the voicemail at all? Does it just give you dead air or will it answer?

no it answers plays the start point greeting i press digits but nothing

The way i set them up all the time is leave start point empty. Then go right to a menu and do all the tranfers from the menu. if you want extension transfer from the menu do 2?? and connect it to a transfer action with $KEY in it. Have your WAV file in the menu not the start point.

K I moved to greeting from start point to the menu.... I forgot i had modified to name to the person after creating the transfer to them... I re-attached to transfer point to Amanda and 0 out option works, the 2XX stil doesn't thogh

Dial by name isn't working it says name not found, its transfer point 1, to dial by name, default results are true and false what am i doing wrong here?

One thing with the dial by name is it will not work untill the mailbox has a name recorded on it. Make sure your mailboxes are set up before testing. THen connect the true to a tansfer with $KEY.
