Our office manager is a member of around 20 Hunt Groups but not enabled.
On her phone a 5420 she has a HGNS+ Button. If this is pressed the IPO Freezes and reboots.

We have has this problem for a little while and have upgraded from 3.0 (44) - 3.1 This made matter worse so I rewrote the entire config on a default IPO and moved the SW to 3.0 (69) This evening. However press the HGNS+ Button and system freezes and locks phones up.

Any one have this issue or can shed any resolutions my way?
Thanks

How is the HGNS+ button programmed. It provides group status feedback so is supposed to be programmed with a specific group number. As far as I aware it does work as a general control that will act on all groups of which the user is a member, so it doesn't (unlike HGEna which can be used with a specific group or with all groups).

Okay, that doesn't expand the system freeze but does mean that what your trying to do probably doesn't work anyway.

So what would be the way to manually control night service. Without using time profiles.

try using a short code

eg
SC: *400
Tel No.: 400
Line Group: 0
Feature: SetHuntGroupNightService

SC: #400
Tel No.: 400
Line Group: 0
Feature: ClearHuntGroupNightService

to set day/night service

The one down full would be the user having to dial 30 shortcodes to put the groups into night.

The 3.0 and 3.1 manuals all list it as only working with a specified hunt group number - if you can get it working without then you need to identify what the problem thresholds are: ?Does it work for a user in 5/10/15 groups ?Does it work for all group types.

And yes, I meant "DOESN'T work as a general control that will act on all groups of which the user is a member" - I should check more carefully before sending - but I think you understood.
