ip office 4.1.9 message waiting lights will not turn off

I have a IP 500 with R 4.1(9) software, and the voicemail pro is not turning off the message waiting lights. There are no messages in their mail box for the MW lights to be on. This is happening on 5420 and 5410 phones. Is there a short code that will resetthese phone MW Lights.

try deleting the user... save the config then re intall the user

that did not by any chance have anything to do with the fact that you just recently renamed the extension to a different name? If you did then there were old messages in the voicemail that lit the light on that phone and renaming just doesn't delete the light if the name is different.

I always delete the Users folder from VMPRO accounts folder then restart the service. Also do the same if the User was renamed as Westi said.
