IP Node Config issue on CS1000 Release 6

Hi all,

I havbe just installed a new release 6 CS1000 pbx. I am able to ping the ip phones but they are not able to register. I think there is an issue with my IP NODE setup. I added the CS server and SIP applications, but do I have to had the media card as well ? Do you have any example of a simple IP node config ?

Here is the present status of my system :

IPMG is registered on loop #4. I am able to ping MGC as well as MGC's daughterboard. 2 IP phones (2004) are setup and I can ping them, however they wont register with the signaling server. I can ping the node IP address from the signaling server. What could be the issue, is it my ip node, as I can ping the phones, I think the layer1 part is ok, must be a software issue I guess?

cppm 6.0 sa system? just unistim nortel ip phones? how r u registering the phones? (static or dhcp)

Hi, check if you have your tps and related applications running on your SS. Go to UCM, login as admin and go to applications then check for all nortel applications and if tps is down start that application.

Hi digitboy,
Is your Node synchronized with the Call Server?
Can you ping the IP Node in your TLAN environment?

When you said you have added the CS, you mean you can see it in the UCM's Element's list?
If not, have you got the CS to join the security domain of the SS's Primary Security Server?

Oh yea, don't forget to install Nortel's "all great" patches on the respective cards too.
