IP log on

Hello,
Anyone tell me from start to finish how an IP phone logs onto the Gateway (ELU32 or IPLU)? For example, Take new phone out of box and put onto lan. Phone broadcasts for DHCP and picks up IP address, looks for domain name, option 43...

Can anyone fill in the blanks like picking up vlan id and L2 qos...?

What DHCP threads? Which part of the DHCP process do you want to understand? - Option 43, Vendor Classes?
