Greetings All,

I have 2 KX-TDE PBXS. One is a 200; the other a 600. I would like to setup an IP (H323) line between the PBXs. There's all kinds of information online to setup a Sip line, but nothing on the IP line setup. All help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Quaz

Guys,

Thank you for the comeback. I just saw this. I have connected the TDE systems to each other, to a Cisco CUCM6, to an Avaya IP Office, to Asterisk ( Issabel_4 ) , FreePBX ( another Asterisk Box )and an NEC SV8100 via H323. Works great. I get audio both ways. Using Version_5 of Issabel5, I am getting one way audio from Asterisk
( Issabel5 ) and full audio when dialing from TDEs to Issabel5. Anybody see this in their travels? I have yet to look at what Kizo has sent to me. What continues to stump me is an H323 connection between the SV8100 and any of the Asterisk boxes I am testing. I can connect but get zero audio.

Anyway, thanks guys for your time. I appreciate it.

All is working, Mike. I hacked my way through this and have the TDE/NCP boxes talking to everything via H323. I have no Sip licenses. I am having a problem with Asterisk (Issabel_5). I get one way audio when I dial from the Asterisk_5 to the NCP500 and two-way audio when dialing from the NCP500. Works perfectly when I use Asterisk(Issabel_4) with all the settings the same on both boxes. Ever run into this?

Kizo, I looked at the attachment you sent. Nice stuff. Thank you!

Try set on Asterisk's side for trunk NCP500
faststart=yes
h245tunneling=no

Mike_K,

I'll give it a shot and let you know how I made out. Thank you.

Mike_K,

I changed faststart=yes h245tunneling=no. No effect. Same deal. Asterisk-4 makes two-way audio calls to and from the NCP ; Asterisk-5 not so much; I can not get to the NCP. Asterisk-5 to the NCP gives me an "All circuits Busy message". I get two-way audio from the NCP to Asterisk-5.

Thank you,
Quaz

Attached are a few examples of h323 connections.
In a Maintenance Console you have IP-GW16 protocol trace, that way you can monitor and compare both connections, what is missing.
Of course you also have a VoIP voice test Tool.
Check default signal ports on both side , Shelf Properity-Vitual IP Gateway.
Panasonic uses G711 and G729 codec, not G722
