I have installed ip licenses on our BCM400, however i cannot get the ip phones to work, i have put in the ip configuration into the phones.. that is ip address, subnet mask, default gateway, and S1 ip address. But i have no luck with the phones working.

key codes shows as follows

Active VoIP GW Trunk 16
Active IP Client Seat 15

Can you kindly assist me in what i might be doing wrong.

Thanks

Did you set the port to 7000 on the phone setup? I believe by default they are set to 4100 which is the signaling port for the CS1000.

Are there any error messages on the phones display that you can post if this doesn't fix your issue?

Yes i have change the port to 7000, we have to pbx system on campus, a option 11 and the BCM400, they are on different VLAN i did not know this. I change to the correct vlan and it now finds the BCM400. My problem now is that it is asking for a password, which i do not know. Can you help me with that.

Also can i transfer a digital phone extention to an ip phone?

Thank you, i got the ip phone working, the password was 2264.
