IP DECT

I have just been informed that I may be installing an IP DECT system on an IPO next week; although I have worked on the IPO for years, I haven't even seen the IP DECT. Is it something that can be installed from just reading the manual, or do you really need to do the course?

One tip. Rename the TFTP file as it doesnt usually like all the underscores and dots and stuff.

Avaya's download site has an excellent installation document which goes thru the DECT installation step by step

Be aware that you need something to act as a TFTP server for the IP DECT even after installation (for reboots etc) it can be a PC or the Sytem with a Compact flash card inserted with the TFTP file on (you can use the embedded VM card).
