We have installed an IP DECT ADMM base station and handset with all the required licenses. When i try to add a handset it just sits in "please wait" and never connects to the ADMM. If i select site survey on the handset, there is no signal activity. It almost looks like the base station is not broadcasting the signal.

Has the phone been registered?
Is it registered as IP phone on the IPO?

Can you access the ADMM via web?

did you configure the ADMM correctly (by surfing to the IP adres)? Also, in there, don't forget to click on the button subscribe in the IP DECT Handsets section.

Is the base station running normal? (the LED on it has to be green)

Have you pressed the "Allow Subscription" button?

It works! Now if only I could remember what I did...

Also have you created a cluster of Stations?

And did you use the Authorisation Code to register the handset ?

The phone is registered as a IP station, the ADMM was configured through the web interface. Subscriptions are allowed, although the subscription times out after a while which i assume is because it does not see any subscription requests. The light on the base station is green.
I have created a cluster, cluster 1. is there a log or status application that will allow me to see if there is an attempt made by the handset to register with the station?

What type of handsets are u using?

You can use the DECTNetmonitor application.
That will show some real time information.

1 Suggestion I have found is on 2 of my sites in the early days the phones would only register when in range of the ADMM, that is if I was coming of another base some where I could not for the life of me get them registered.

However I have since relooked at these sites and know 100% it is not a programming issue or dead unit. Worth a try if you having issues.

its always the little things...

The name in the IPO config and name of the handset did not match. Its all good now.

Thanks for all of the suggestions!
