I have a working system that has 8 ip dect phones attached to an IPBS2 Master module.
The model phones are 3720.
The problem I am having is that I can't get more than 6 of the phones to ring at a time but I have all 8 in a coverage answer group.
The isdn trunk group that works between the Master unit and CM has 8 channels.
CM release is 5.2.1

I have a vector transferring to a virtual extension with a coverage path of 4. Coverage path 4 points to C5 which contains all 8 IP dect extensions.

If I call the phones individually they will ring. If I add only 4 or 5 of them to the coverage answer group then the 4 or 5 will ring. When I put the 7th phone in the coverage answer group only 6 of them will ring.
The extensions range for 111-118. Seems like 116 has the most issues. Tried resetting the phone. Removed the battery and reboot.

I also powered off the Master unit and powered back on to see if it would start working correctly.

To replace the Master unit is about 945.00 our cost. I would hate to get another one and then this not be the problem. The system has only been working for about 10 months.
I wonder if anyone has ever encountered a problem like this.
Any help would be appreciated.

Surprising you can even get more than 4 to ring at once. Specs below:

Avaya Standard Base Station V2 (IPBS2) Features
•Radio transceiver base for Avaya DECT R4 wireless system
•8 channels (i.e. up to 4 simultaneous calls)

-CL

I was reading a document about the dect phones and it stated "8 concurrent calls". I wasnt sure if this meant 8 outgoing calls at once or 8 ringing phones at once.
Page 8 states "Each IP DECT Radio Base Station can handle up to eight concurrent calls".
Is there anyone that could clarify this?
Thank you,

I upgraded the IPBS@ form 5.0.11 to 6.0.23. Problem solved.
8 phones now ring at once.
