IP Dect Dap Controller

HI

Having problem getting files to transfer via tftp to base stations using controller, the monitor can see the MAC address and giving base station an ip address.

Windows firewall switch off and no antivirus running.

Controller version I am using is 5.00.0405

The switch is a sv8100
Any ideas gratefully recieved.

What firmware version are you using, the latest is 4910b510. We had the same problem adding a base station to an existing system, DHCP gave the base station and IP address, and the base station kept asking for a file, but never got it, then it seemed to reboot(couldn't ping it).
We upgraded the firmware, and it then got the file and booted up ok.

We had a similar issue. We had already done what jonlovejoy is suggesting, but things then went horribly wrong. The original 4 DAP's then wouldn't come back up. Eventually got all 5 DAPs working at 4910b502.

Got it working, turn out our IT guy had implemented trend micro security across all our pcs and laptops as a network policy, once remove the Daps got the firmware !
