Hi, I'm a big reader here and it's my first thread.

I've installed 4 Dect R4 antennas (2 with 4 channels and 2 with 8 channels) I had the problem with some handset unregistering ramdomly and i've probably found the answer right here. but those alarms keeps coming and i can't find anything related to those codes. all i can find is manuals that tells me the same thing. anybody can guide me throught?

Did you set a 8 Channel base station as the Master?
Upgraded all basestations to the latest release? ( 6.0.23 )

Yup! i also took out the login codes in the manager supervisor settings and since then i had only 1 handset de-registering in one week. but those errors doesn't stop coming in.

The 4 channel base stations are known for problems when phones are in a collective group.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

nobody is in a a collective group. its all individual extensions that are given to mobile person. do you think i should change the 2 4 ways antenna just in case

To me this sounds like a network problem.

I have seen these codes on a system that had a poor DSL connecting two sites in a flat network.
Went away when upgrading to a decent IP-VPN.

Click on the fault code, it will tell you more about the error (IPEI, IP's, etc)

Compact base station is not my favourite, they make strange things happen when mixed with other types.

Kind regards

Gunnar

This is a known issue and being investigated by Ascom. they have no fix yet. Handsets drop off and lose registration for no reason. Seen it on a couple of recent sites. We are waiting patiently for the fix!!!

You can get round it by disabling provisioning mode on the bases.

There is an issue with DECT R4 6.0.23 and Handsets 4.2.3 unsubscribing.
We have the same problem with one of our customers (Event logs show same provisioning messages), it's been escalated to Avaya Support.
We have been told Ascom are aware of it and working on a fix.

One of our customers has the same problem.
Nice to know that it is a known issue.

Seems to be the later 9.0.X releases. We have a 9.0.1 site with 50+ DECT R4 with no issues that we know of.

This site is on 8.0
The dect was upgraded because of other issues.

Jamie, can you keep me informed if you have any news?

I will. Once I get something back from Engineering/Ascom, I'll pu it on the other side.

RS is on the case for us.
