Hi all, Not happened yet but as we sell a few systems with EVM and some clients will not have a PC available to act as a TFTP server, how would you give the IP DECT the TFTP file on reboots? I was wondering if that's what they were thinking when they stuck the USB slot in the 500 but never activated it for some reason?

You can load that file on to the embedded card and use that as the tftp server.

I was thinking that but didn't want to knack up an EVM card by trying it. Cheers PG

It does work, just DONT delete anything off the card cause that will knack it good style.

I think it is interesting that this was on the v1 processors we had "USB Port for TPAD compliant point of sale terminals." Then they removed it from the 406v2. And now they put it back on the IP500 as "Not Used".
