I'm looking for suggestions for an IP conference phone. We have two offices and our main control unit, the IP406V2 is located in NJ. Our TX office just has IP phones that are connected via VPN to the NJ office. There is no control unit in TX. TX gets its dial-tone from NJ (we use SIP for our lines). We are in the process of designing a conference room and need an IP conference phone. I'd also like to know if we need to purchase any RFA's for the IP conference phone to work.

Thanks,

Mike

We attended a webinar today that said July 31st. Either way it's soon.

Maybe it is a little earlier outside of the US. I got a doc on Monday from Avaya and it said aug 11. Either way it is soon. Keep us posted on the phone. I have some customers who would like it...

Tried the 4690 with 4.2. No luck.
It still will logout and ask for the extension and password after about 5 min.

Just as an idea, we habe an IPO500 with DECT. We had no problems to use the polycom Soundstation 2W (wireless/DECT) in conjunction with the Avaya DECT Solution. We do not use the Polycom DECT Station.

Our IPO is connected through a VPN-Connection with the DECT Station. Everything is fine with the exception, that the DECT Soundstation is showing the wrong time.

Last information, all equipment is for the german market, I don't know if there are some differents between the US models and the german models of the equipment.

Regards

Daniel
