Has anybody a solution, to connect a IP Camera to a Openstage 60 or 80 (with the last Firmware). I found some solutions with Gate view or similar. In My case i prefer a solution with the fixed key, to switch on/off the Door camera.

Cheers,
Thomas

The OpenStage 60 and 80 have folders with PDF docs in them relevant to the softwares and types (SIP or HFA)
Camera operation is mentioned.

Thanks for the quick response. USB Camera is not the issue. I neeed know how to integrate a IP Camera in the Openstage 60/80.

Cheers,
Thomas

Thanks! I know the possibility from Gate View. But the price for this Plug-PC from 329.- Euro is mutch to high.

As far as I understand it you need to use a USB webcam plugged into the phone and it has to be SIP. I have two of them I set up for a special purpose that never happened. Basically you hook up the camera and there are a couple of settings in the phone and you're good to go. As of the last time I messed with it you could only use it for OS60 - OS60 calls. I've never heard you can make it work with an IP camera - that would be news to me, but I would be interested in hearing about it.

Thanks, but i dont like to use a usb camera at openstage 60. USB is working with the right USB Canera out of the box.
My problem is the ip Camera outside to control the main door.

Cheers,
Thomas

You would have to find a programmer that can write you a "view camera" app. I know the phone can run apps, as I have played with a weather app, and some kind of game app on the phones, but I am not aware of one that could allow you to view a "web site" to get the image.

On the other hand, if you explore Openscape Personal Edition, which is Unify's soft phone and can support either SIP or HFA integration, or another one I have played with called Jitsi (SIP) that is available from sourceforge you may be able to combine your telephony functions with the ability to view web content (an a PC).
