What would IP Agent 7 give me over just using IP softphone 6?

Any Ideas on how the costing compares for these?

Is there anything I need to watch for or avoid when rolling these out into a call centre environment.

Thanks

we use ip softphone v5.2, because v6 only works with Communication Manager 4 ...

we have designed an ip softphone as a callmaster with all funktions for an agent ... so we don´t need an ip agent extra.

with "only works" i mean that ip softphone 6 is in an CM 3.1.3 in the disp capacity on page 11 an IP-Soft R5 Regist.

i don´t know if this is a bug .. but avaya told me that is okay

You would use IP agent for call center agents and IP softphone for non call center agents.

But is it possible to use softphone for call centre agents, would I loose any functionality.

Also if I used agent for non call centre would I loose any functionality

"Also if I used agent for non call centre would I loose any functionality"
Yes. The picture of phone is real nice in Softphone, you wont have that.
