Hi all,

We have started to roll out IP agent across a number of sites and we are running across an issue with putting in the extensions.

With a couple of people setting up the software, we have noticed that we have run into an issue where we may put in the same extension into the IP Agent Application on setup.

This means that when someone is starting up the IP Agent, it may kick off the first one with that extension.

Other than "being more careful" has anyone else worked out a way to stop this from occuring...

Regards...

No the only thing ou can do is to be carful when setting them up. What we have done is set the extension number to be similar to the agent id. An example would be 50321 (extension) and 30321 (agent id) the only number different is the first digit, otherwise the rest matches. This works when mulitple agents are not sharing the same machine for different shifts.

Why don't set an unique password for your agents. It could prevent agents from logging in the wrong ext.
