We are using IP Agent 7.0 through Telecommuter mode. When the users are on LAN they gets connected seamlessly and when they VPN in from home, IP agent fails to login numerous times, once it does it transfers well, although we have had intermittent problems transferring once connected.
I've already used Wireshark to capture traces which the WAN team and our team analyzed. We notice that the CLAN board starts sending a lot of “TCP segment of a reassembled PDU" packets. We don't understand why it would be doing this considering that the longest packet length is 684
Our WAN team indicates that it would be nice if on the CLAN board, the largest MTU's sent could be reduced to 1300, instead of 1500 but Avaya denied doing that.

Interesting that with a lot of reassembled packets, IP Agent perseveres

We are using

VPN Concentrator Type: 3030
Bootcode Rev: Cisco Systems, Inc./VPN 3000 Concentrator Series Version 4.0.Rel Mar 25 2003 15:45:12
Software Rev: Cisco Systems, Inc./VPN 3000 Concentrator Version 4.7.2.L Jun 11 2007 11:40:29

RAM Size: 512 MB (Memory Status: Green)

Our remote access client is Cisco VPN version 4.0.1

Firewalls H/W are Nokia 1260 (Data Center 2) and a Nokia 2450 (Data Center 1). They are running IPSO 4.2 build 96.

Firewalls S/W are the same for both: Check Point VPN-1(TM) & FireWall-1(R) NGX (R62) - Build 120

Thanks in advance
