IP addresss disappear

Hello,

When re-submitting a backjob, the IP information disappears. The IP reverts back to 0.0.0.0. The correct server name appears but the IP is 0.0.0.0 Any suggestions?

arcserve 7 manager right? for some reason everyone and his momma has issues with as7 manager. i have emailed CAI tech support and hopefully i'll hear something. when it is edited by the manager, the server will not backup anything and i had to recreate the jobs from the console several times and that is chode.

all other servers and their IP are intact it only happens when backing up Notes databases. Arcserve 2000 advanced edition is what we are using.

AS7 can manage a client via either IP or name resolution. If you have the box clicked, it will show 0.0.0.0, but the name will indeed appear. Shouldn't cause a problem, as that's how I have all mine setup and it works fine.
