Win2K AD PDC, network connected to Internet through ActionTek modem/router. The PDC is the DNS server, the router is the DHCP server, with all addresses now assigned in the 192.168.x.x range. We just got assigned a block of static public IP addresses so that we can set up a VPN for remote access to the network. One of the public addresses should be assigned to the router, but do I also need to assign one to the PDC. Also, is there any problem with continuing to use the same DNS and DHCP setup that we currently have (with any necessary adjustments for static IP addresses on the router and/or server, of course)?
